1. Mauna Kea, Hawaii

The top of the tallest mountain in the world – if we’re counting from the sea floor – at sunset has to be one of the most romantic and adventurous places to steal a kiss. Head up there before sunset to take in incredible 360-degree views for as far as the eye can see. Watch the sunset over the nearby volcanoes and then take in the free star-gazing tour halfway down the mountain. This is one of the best places in the world to see the night sky is all of its glory.

Cruising through a glacier-cut fiord in this awe-inspiring national park is sure to spark romance. The drive to get to Milford Sound itself is beautiful and is sure to inspire lots of kisses, but standing on the front of your luxury cruiser as it goes almost directly under Shannon Falls will definitely top the list. With the mist filling the air and a sense of adventure all around you, you'll find yourself in an embrace that will inspire romance for years to come.
