Flora Farms

Located in the Sierra de la Laguna mountains in San Jose del Cabo, Flora Farms is a 25-acre organic farm operated by Chef Guillermo Tellez. Over the years, the property has developed from a simple farm into a multi-service, one-stop-shop for everything fresh and natural. Duck into Flora’s Field Kitchen for field-to-fork dining and then post up at The Farm Bar for cocktails, wine and beer brewed on-site. Flora Farms offers 20 luxurious guest cottages (The Haylofts) and a stay is made complete by booking massage, yoga or a meditation session at The Farm Spa

Huerta Los Tamarindos

Operated under the watchful eye of renowned Chef Enrique Silva, San José del Cabo's Huerta Los Tamarindos is an organic farm and restaurant offering an authentic cooking experience in an outdoor kitchen terrace. The space itself used to serve as a 19th-century farmhouse and the gorgeous outdoor dining offers seaside views. Huerta Los Tamarindos invites guests attend a cooking class, harvesting their own vegetables and herbs before transforming them into a tasty entrée. Stay tuned, a newly renovated bar is on its way.

Acre Baja

Acre Baja is a hilltop sanctuary located near San José del Cabo. The brainchild of Canadian entrepreneurs, Stuart McPherson and Cameron Watt (owner of Vancouver’s The Keefer Bar), it has an air of rustic charm blended with a luxurious, sexy vibe. The menu features global cuisine and a bounty of fresh ingredients – many grown right on the farm. Aguachile ceviche finds fresh and briny shrimp tossed with citrus, avocado, olives and cilantro, and served with blue corn tostadas. A hearty plate of fried green tomatoes is a real standout. Thick sliced green tomatoes are breaded with cornmeal and crumbs then fried until golden. Juicy inside, crisp outside, the dish is finished with a tart-sweet sherry honey reduction, fried basil leaves and cherry tomatoes.

From world-class Chef Javier Plascencia comes a farm-to-table experience that’s quickly become a “can’t miss.” Jazamango, located outside of Todos Santos, provides an authentic look at Baja dining through the combination of uniquely blended flavours and locally sourced organic products. The daily changing menu is entirely dependent on what’s grown and harvested on their on-site farm, garden and orchard, and what is procured locally from the sea and turf.
