Staying up all night with a loved one and watching the sunrise can be one of the most romantic things you do together. Walk down the pier, spend hours talking and finally catch the sun peeking over the lip of the horizon at Ponce Inlet. The moments before the sun rises creates a sort of mysticism and those who are willing to wait it out are guaranteed to be rewarded.

Daytona Beach, a destination that conjures images of the high octane Daytona 500 or long stretches of world famous beach.  While these are both great reasons to visit, these two highlights only scratch the surface of what the coastal city has to offer.

Take a step back and bask in the natural beauty of Daytona Beach. Close your eyes and feel the warmth of a long Florida day fade into twilight. This is the image that will remain ingrained in your memory long after you've come and gone.  Thanks to the warm climate and expansive ocean horizon,  Daytona Beach is one of the most amazing places to experience a sunset.

Just as one can't contain sunshine in a jar, the following pictures only capture the essence of a Daytona Beach sunset. For that, you will just have to experience it yourself.

Photographer Dylan H snapped this stunning sunset during his vacation to Daytona Beach in 2014.  The photo illustrates the geometric beauty of the Boardwalk Amusement Park, a subject not typically described in such terms. It literally paints the Giant Ferris Wheel and Sand Blaster Roller Coaster in a breathtaking light.

This particular picture was taken at Ponce Inlet which is located south of Daytona Beach, at the peninsula's tip.  Ponce Inlet maintains tight regulations on land use, ensuring the area maintains that laid back, old town feeling. The area is also known for The Ponce de León Inlet Light, a world famous light house. It is one of the oldest and best maintained lighthouses in the United States.
