This UNESCO World Heritage site is easily one of the most beautiful places on earth. Scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, whether you’re a seasoned diver or have never even snorkeled, is the perfect place to have an unforgettable adventure together.
Most dive boats offer full day excursions where you can enjoy a romantic onboard lunch. For the more adventurous type, why not take a waterproof sign that pops the question down with you and show it just before you surface from your dive.

Floating along an ancient canal through one of the oldest and most romantic cities in the world is a fascinating way to spend the perfect moment with the one you love.
Be sure to let your gondolier know that you would like to see the smaller canals, as the Grand Canal is shared with many other types of transportation. Marvel at the beautiful city from this unique vantage point, and as soon as you hear the words “This can’t get any better” – that’s when you know it’s the perfect moment.

This gigantic ancient wonder will transport you back in time, and is the perfect place to spend a day exploring with the one you love.
Sunrise and sunset are both absolutely spectacular to watch from Angkor Wat, and the time in between can be sent spent exploring the surrounding national park and stealing moments away from all the crowds.
4. Lovers Beach, San Jose del Cabo, Mexico

With two towering sandstone cliffs on either side of the beautiful sandy beach – the calm waters in front of you and the echo of the pounding Pacific waves behind you – this may be one of the most scenic places to pop the question. And with a name like Lovers Beach, it will certainly make for some incredible stories.
Located on the tip of the Baja Peninsula, this famous beach is only accessible from the water. You can take a glass bottom boat ride over to the beach, or for the more adventurous, rent kayaks for the day and follow the cliffside shoreline around. Whichever mode of water transportation you choose, be sure to continue along to see El Arco, Cabo’s famous rock arch at Lands End. Pack a picnic and make a day of it – you may want to take a bottle of bubbly to celebrate as well.

Overlooking the most romantic city in the world, seeing the city lights twinkle in your lover’s eye and stealing a kiss when nobody around is looking, the top of the Eiffel Tower may just be the most romantic place on earth.
The incredible architecture mixed with the best view of the city makes this one-of-a-kind locale absolutely perfect for an engagement you’ll never forget. As you ascend in the glass elevator, both of your hearts will be racing.
