Suite dreams
During my visit, I stayed in an Oceanfront King Room. I loved that the space reflected an inviting island aesthetic with detailed wood furnishings and local art. I always felt a distinct sense of place.

Tiki Terrace will no doubt be one of your go-to venues while staying at this island oasis. The breakfast buffet is packed with an incredible variety of regional flavours and local ingredients in hot and cold entrées, with fresh juices, fruits, pastries, and several kid-friendly options.
Come evening, I savoured fresh local seafood while enjoying the nightly entertainment offered at this open-air restaurant.
For even more entertainment, I suggest taking in a luau. It's a Hawaiian tradition that parents and kids alike will love for its combination of island cuisine and cultural celebration.
Pick your adventure: land or sea?
During the day, my time was split between relaxing poolside and digging my toes into the pristine sandy beach out front of the hotel.
With surf schools located on the beach, you’ll find it within reach to take the family out for their first paddle.
Snorkel kit rentals are easily accessible for a few bucks and I highly recommend exploring the coral reefs in front of Black Rock, just a few steps from Kā‘anapali Beach Hotel. Through my mask, I admired schools of tropical fish and colourful coral landscapes. I was mesmerized when a huge Hawaiian sea turtle swam alongside me. It was an experience I'll never forget.
Off-property, Whaler’s Village is a short stroll down the beach walk, offering a pedestrian plaza of boutiques and souvenir shops. Plus, you can take a free shuttle into nearby downtown Lahaina to visit a picturesque waterfront full of galleries and boutiques, and more ocean adventure.
