Spring skiing, snowboarding competitions and a rowdy music festival. Is there any better way to cap off winter in Western Canada? For its second year running, Snowbombing Canada is taking Sun Peaks by storm, and you don't want to miss it.

1. Party like a European

Did you say apres-ski? Born in the Austrian Alps, Snowbombing combines two elements Europeans have practised to perfection: skiing through stunning mountains and enjoying nearly endless after-parties. Transported to Canadian soil, Snowbombing Canada launched at Sun Peaks in 2017. Search for photos and videos of the festival and you’ll find onesies, beer, retro ski gear, slushie ski jumps, more beer… basically everything a snow-covered mountain-peak party should include.

2. Ski like a Canadian

Sun Peaks is massive. With the second largest ski area in Canada, two alpine bowls and 135 runs, you’ve got more than enough terrain to fill four days of shredding. Sign up for a competition to show off your skills or stick to riding the chair lift for SBC's cheeky speed dating event.

3. Dance to your favourite artists

This year’s line-up includes headliners Odesza and Cardi B, two favourites that are sure to draw a crowd. Throughout the weekend, Borgore, GoldLink, TroyBoi, Black Tiger Sex Machine and Will Sparks take the stage. A range of styles from experimental electronic to hip-hop melodies and upbeat pop-rap will have you dancing in your ski boots.

4. Soak the day away

The only thing better than partying to DJs and musicians is recuperating in your own private hot tub. Accommodation available during Snowbombing varies from 4-star hotels with jacuzzis to budget-friendly digs in nearby Kamloops. If you’re keen to make friends, slip into your speedo for the communal SBC pool party or dive into the slush cup to make a splash.
